A typical 123Quiz event follows the following schedule:
- 12:00: Registration
- 12:30: Individual
- 14:00: Food
- 14:30: Team
- 16:00: Results & Prizes
- 17:00: Light Speed
- 20:00: Close

Individual
The 123Quiz individual format is 123 question quiz designed to test a broad range of quiz disciplines to crown the best all-round quizzer. There is no dropping of marks, and the aim is that players will benefit in all areas of quiz as a result.
- 30 Easy
- 30 Medium
- 30 Hard
- 10 Audio
- 20 Pictures (sometimes 10)
- 10 Senses (included if 10 pictures)
- 3 Tie-breakers

Table
The 123Quiz table format is a 123 point quiz designed as a typical sit-down quiz containing the standard Trivial Pursuit categories plus audio, current affairs and general knowledge for the main rounds.
- 10 Art and Literature
- 10 Entertainment
- 10 Geography
- 10 History
- 10 Science and Nature
- 10 Sport and Leisure
- 10 Audio
- 10 Current Affairs
- 10 General Knowledge
- 10 Joker (points in a round are doubled when a joker is played before a main round)
- 20 Pictures (sometimes 10)
